Passion for Earthy, Spiritual, and Natural

In addition to a career in the nursing,  Dr. Ross always had a magnetic attraction for anything earthy, spiritual and/or natural as well as alternative and contemporary health care methods.  As an avid lifelong learner, Dr. Ross continued her education completing a diploma in Aromatherapy and a PhD in Natural Health and Alternative Medicine. She independently studied the concepts and principle of Native American Medicine, metaphysical and crystal healing, and is familiar with other alternative health care practices, such as color healing, Thai massage, Acupuncture, Tradition Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy.  She traveled to China, Tibet, and India and witness first hand the advantages of Traditional Chinese and Tibetan Medicine and Ayurveda.  Along side, a career in nursing,  she  practiced  aromatherapy, metaphysical and crystals healing modalities and integrated both  scientific  and  alternative health care concepts and principles  into her work.      

A Ph.D. in Natural Health  and Alternative Medicine provided her with a solid foundation to counsel and educate clients on how to attain health and vitality.  While at UCLA she worked with some of the most distinguished and   well-known physicians and surgeons in medicine and health care, in disciplines not limited to, immunology, pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, and infectious disease.  She has also worked at prestigious universities such as Mount St Mary’s College and Cal State University Dominguez Hills, teaching didactics in pediatrics, medical-surgical nursing, critical care nursing, pharmacology, pathophysiology, cultural diversity. As a result, years of experience, lecturing and studying the humans body, diseases and treatments has allowed her the expertise to recommend care for the whole person.  She has many years of hands-on training working with children, adults and the aging from all walks of life, with variable health care conditions and diseases.
